INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: HOW TO USE VAPOR SUPPRESSOR: 1. Evacuate employees from the spill area. 2. Wear personal protective equipment compatible with chemicals involved. 3. Ventilate the contaminated area. 4. Remove any potential sources of flames, sparks, etc. 5. Position pads on outer edge of spill for containment. 6. Sprinkle Vapor Suppressor onto the spilled area. Making sure the Vapor Suppressor is extended beyond the actual spill and that the top layer contains no wet spots. 7. Allow the flammable liquid to soak in. Remove the Vapor Suppressor by using NON-SPARKING and ANTI-STATIC equipment. 8. Place used Vapor Suppressor into an approved disposal container. 9. Dispose of all used articles (used Vapor Suppressor, PPE, disposal container, etc.) according to local, state and federal regulations. Rule of Thumb: Vapor Suppressor absorption capacity depends on the concentration level of the liquid. You may use 10% as a guide.
