Figures have shown that fresh water supplies in the city are becoming more precious. And washing machine consume a lot of water nowadays. The project aims to promote a low carbon foot print lifestyle by using new clothing technology with washing. Design Concept This washing machine design is fully operated by people power so it has a small carbon foot print. In the future, clothes will be made of nano-fabric which is very eco-friendly to wash. One of the way is sprinkling water on it. The machine will turn human power energy (kinetic energy) to electrical energy for turning on UV light.
