This is my 2 gallon desktop reef aquarium. Lit by a boosted led par 30 lamp, lots of natural sunlight during the day as seen in the video. Various types of hard and soft corals as well as a couple of sponges, a mini carpet anemone 2 gobies and a rarely seen pom pom crab. Tank has been running for 13 months now. Filtration is about 2 lbs of live rock as well as 2 mangrove pods as a refugeium. A weekly .75 or so gallon water change is usually performed and every 1-2 weeks a half tablespoon of GFO and 3/4 tablespoon of activated carbon is changed in red sea mini hob filter. Additional flow provided by mini jet 404 return pump and a zoo meds powerhead hidden in the false wall. In such a small aquarium chemical warefare does occasionally happen especially with so many corals jammed in, but overall no major problems. Removing the sand bed will ensure detritus is not a serious problem and hopefully this tank will remain stable for many years to come.
